Re-Purposed Redwood Drafting Table
This project has been on the back burner for about 2 years now and since I had time this winter I decided to move it to the front. I used to draw in my room growing up and never really had any place to do it. I also have two other hobbies that I love to do, painting and building models. Hence the need for a table that doubles as an easel. I go nuts when I have nothing to do.
So, from my son’s deck in the backyard I scavenged some planks and brought them home for future projects. Some of the planks were warped slightly so I had to plane them. Once squared I had what I needed to create the table above and more. People don’t pay attention to how much waster really goes on when they throw stuff away and replace it with something else.
Below are some more pictures of my project enjoy and be sure to drop me a line if you interested in something like this.
